Description
The collet chucks are designed for demanding clamping geometries and varying workpiece diameters. The high-precision lamella clamping technology makes it possible to cover a clamping range of several millimeters with one interchangeable collet. Due to the perfect clamping geometry (parallel clamping) over the entire clamping range, a sustained concentricity of better than 0.01mm can be guaranteed.
For example, with the chuck type LZK-BS, the clamping range from ø2.5 to 42.5 mm can be covered with only seven interchangeable collets. In addition to reduced stock-keeping and the associated low investment costs, change-over times are reduced, and flexibility in production is increased.
Lamella-change-over collets
Axially fixed clamping position
Actuation utilizing force clamping cylinder
In the main for turning and grinding operations
Parallel clamping across the entire stroke
Large clamping range per change-over collet
Minimal change-over times
Stable and robust chuck
High RPM
Suitable for thin-walled rings (number of clamping lamella)
Over-grip clamping possible
